A Poem by Mark

I woke up one day and realized
   I was an alarm clock.
          I was so delighted.
You see though,
when one becomes an alarm clock,
     they also inherit the knowledge
that the job isn't so easy-
You can't just run around screaming,
   "bringgg bringgg!"
          No; those people would make
           better horns.
With being an alarm clock ya gotta
be quiet most of the time.
     You wait, patiently and surely,
         knowing the time will come.
       Time always comes.
Finally,
when they're ready to wake up,
       then ya let loose and
          set em' free.

A very good write. Well penned!

This was original, I've never read a poem before, where the poet writes inn the persona of an alarm clock. A good fun read, and a clev?er idea. Why did you choose to set your poem out in this pattern? And why was your last stuff deleted...I'm intrigued
