Lost loves

Lost loves

A Poem by R.M.C

The pain of a lost love
Never truly leaves,
Only lessens as
The heart grieves.

It doesn't mean they're uncaring
If they never cried;
The tears are just likely
Freezing and burning inside.

People deal with grief
In their own way;
They might prefer a shoulder to cry upon
Or they might prefer to be alone and pray.

No matter the pain
You are suffering,
You need to face it
To stop from suffocating.

Let the anguish flow
So that you can move on;
Only through the turmoil can
You find peace after they're gone.

Everyone will suffer loss that will
Cripple them, tear them down;
It's this expression of emotion
Through which our love is shown.

To pay homage
To their memory,
You nee to live a full life
And just be happy.
