Finding yourself

A Poem by R.M.C

'Twas in the depths of
Your love that I found myself;
There in your embrace
I discovered what it meant
To give myself to someone.

Nice effort on the Tanka form, Ross.
I very much enjoyed your creative, romantic thinking here, expressing such wonderment and gratitude in homage for finding love to the one whom inspired it within you.
In L4, I know by "yourself" you mean you, and not some other your, but it is grammatically incorrect, as it should correctly be "myself".

I'm sending you something on the Tanka I think you may find interesting … surely, educational and informative.
Thanks for the sharing. and the generous invitation, too, My Friend! ⁓ Richard
