I forgive you

I forgive you

A Poem by R.M.C

We lay in bed tonight,

Awash in the moonlight.

Even though the distance between us is small,

You do not answer my call.

Even though I shout and shout,

You hear absolutely nowt.

Without remorse you ruined my life:

You, you cut us apart like a knife.

I lay alone at your side,

Remembering your comments, oh so snide,

But your emotions you cannot hide,

So my time I will bide.

I love you, I forgive you,

All I want is you to move on too.
