What Is Love?

I don’t know what Love is.

I’m a simple human being, but there is more to it.

I sit lonely in a seat listening to a song.

I hear footsteps of a soft gentle kind.

I see her face, the face that a man can only dream of.

She glances at me and smiles; my heart begins to beat fast.

She comes up to me and asks if I like the music.

I hesitate and stutter out, “Y-Y-Yes.”

She blushes and kisses my cheek.

And I say to myself, “So this is love?”
