Fearless

A poem about my thoughts when I told my current boyfriend that I like him.

Listening to Fearless
by Taylor Swift and
texting the boy I have liked.

Am I going to take the plunge?
Will I be Fearless?

How do I phrase
the question?
That could make all the difference.

Am I going to take the plunge?
Will I be Fearless?

But what if he doesn’t like me,
maybe I shouldn’t ask him.
It would be embarrassing.

Am I going to take the plunge?
Will I be Fearless?

“Becca just do it.
What’s the worst that could happen?”
I tell him I like him.

I took the plunge.
I was Fearless.

I like you too.

I like it! I think every girl who's ever liked someone has dealt with this fear and curiousity to see if the other person likes them too. I did this too, and was fearless. :) I'm glad you found the courage to tell him!
