Big Step

Nick takes a big step with his and Samantha's relationship. How will Samantha reply?

White Marsh Mall Friday Night

            After the couple left the pet store, they walked around the mall for a little longer. Samantha pulled out her phone to check the time, and it read ten o’clock “That sucks,” Samantha said.

            “What are you talking about?”

            “I have to be home by ten thirty and its ten o’clock now.”

            “Yeah. Your right that does suck.”

            “Walk me back to the food court?”

            “It would be my pleasure,” Nick said as they started walking back to the food court. When they reached the food court he walked her outside to her car, gave her a quick kiss, and a huge hug. “I’ll text you when I get home,” Samantha said as she got into her car.

            “Okay. Talk to you then,” Nick said as he walked over to his car, got in, and started to head home.

Nick’s House Friday Night

            Nick parked his car in the driveway of his house, and then walked in through the dining room door, and his mother called out to him from the living room “Nick can you come here?”

            “Okay,” Nick says as he walks into the living room.

            “Your grandmother just called…”

            “Ok…ay.”

            “She saw you at the mall…”

            Oh my gosh. My grandmother saw me with Sam, Nick thought.

            “What were you doing at the mall with a Schreiber?”

            “She was a Schreiber!? I didn’t know that. She just started up a conversation with me.”

            “Yes she was. If you say you didn’t know she was a Schreiber then I’m not going to ground you.”

            “Thank you,” Nick said as he walked upstairs to his room as soon as he stepped into his room and closed the door he took his phone out of his pocket; saw that he had a new message from Samantha that said “I had an amazing time 2day!” replied and said “Sam…i think we have a problem.” He looked over to his nightstand to see that his IPod was still in his speaker, so he turned on the speaker and pushed play in his IPod. The song “Picture” by Sherl Crow and Kid Rock immediately came on. He sat down on his bed and he heard his phone beep for a new text message. It was Samantha her message read “Wats the problem baby?” Nick contemplated how to explain the situation, but he finally responded “My grandmom saw us 2gether @ the mall, & called my mom & tld her wat she saw.” He immediately closed the phone and laid back down on the bed thinking about their situation when “History in the Making” came on and he knew that everything would work itself out and be alright. His phone beeped again and Samantha’s text read “Wat does tht mean 4 us? b/c if ur mom knos doesn’t tht mean tht we wnt b able 2 c each other nymore?” Nick answered her question by saying “Evrything is gonna wk out fine b/c were history in the making & i love u & nothing will evr change tht.” Nick started to nervously pace the room awaiting her response because he knows that he just took a big step in telling Samantha “I love you.” I wonder what she’s going to say back. I wonder if she loves me, Nick thought to himself when his phone went off to a text message that said “Nick…i love you too.”

I know this one took me awhile to upload. Its because I did seven housr of homework last Sunday, and had no time to write the next chapter,but what do yuo think all reviews are appreciated. :-)
