Maryland's Finest

Maryland's Finest

A Poem by Becca*Type2012
"

This poem was an english homework assignment about what we thought about our hometown of Dundalk.

"

A small town

In Maryland,

Often known to locals

As having a “bad rep.”

But take a walk around

This small southern town

And you might get another idea.

There are parks,

And fields,

And playgrounds,

With frolicking children

In the warmer months,

And when you make

Your trip to the

Local high school;

The view is of

Maryland’s finest...

The skyline of

Downtown Baltimore,

And the outline of

The Key Bridge.

You should try only capitalizing at the beginning of sentences...with lines this short, the capitals kinda fragment it, I think.
I love the first and last 7 lines... :]

((Hells yes, southern southern, now NO ONE can say anything about my accent-ness, lol:] ))
