Sports

A Poem by Becca*Type2012
"

A little poem about sports and the people who love them.

"
Sports otherwise known as athletics,
A way for high school students to get noticed,
And a way to earn a living,
But for some people sports are more than a hobby,
Or a job.
Some people only thrive in athletics,
While others dread the thought of injury.
“Super fans” stick with their team,
For better or for worse,
And in sickness and in health.
These “super fans” only think about the next game,
Or the latest trade or injury.
“Super fans” can’t think of their life without sports,
But health conscious can’t think of their life with sports,
And there’s only one thing left to say...
If you dislike sports...
You don’t know what you’re missing!
