Eighteen year old James quickly got out his cell phone and dialed One Year Later Nick Wiley, a sixteen tear old male with dark brown hair and eyes, had just broken up with his girlfriend Katie Miller. He thought that he was his “special one”, but then he had found out that Katie had cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy Nickelson. He was walking into Dundalk High and saw his best friend Mike Foxx, a sixteen year old male with dark blonde hair and green eyes. “Hey Nick! What’s up?” Mike asked. “Not good. I just had to break up with Katie,” Nick responded. “Well, you’ll never guess what I just heard about,” Mike stated. “What?” Nick asked. “There’s going to be a dance on Saturday,” Mike stated. “So,” Nick said. “It’s the perfect way to get over your break up with Katie,” Mike responded. “And do what exactly?” Nick replied. “Check out other chicks,” Mike said. “Dude, today’s Monday the dance is Saturday. Do you really think I’m going to go to the dance to look at other girls?” Nick asked. “At least tell me you’ll think about it,” Mike requested. “I’ll think about it,” Nick responded. “That’s what I like to hear,” Mike said. “Whatever,” Nick said and the five minute bell rang. “I’ll talk to you at lunch,” Mike said. “See you at lunch,” Nick replied as he passed Samantha Schrieber, a sixteen year old female with blonde hair and blue eyes. “Come on Sam! Why don’t you ask him to the dance?” Samantha’s best friend since elementary school, Gabriella Kline, a sixteen year old female with blonde hair green eyes. “Because he’s a Wiley,” Samantha said. “Oh yeah I forgot. Sorry Sam,” Gabriella said. “I wish I could forget about it,” Samantha mumbled to herself. “Well you know if you don’t have a date be Thursday we could buy a couple’s ticket, to save money,” Gabriella said. “I know,” Samantha replied. “Well here’s my class. See you at lunch,” Gabriella said. “See ya,” Samantha responded. White Marsh Mall Friday Night “Sam that dress looks awesome on you!” Gabriella said gesturing to the red knee length halter dress that fit all of her curves perfectly. “Do you really think so?” Samantha asked. “Yeah really,” Gabriella said. “And I have the perfect pair of shoes to go with it!” Samantha exclaimed. That settles it. You have to buy it,” Gabriella said as Samantha looked at the price and her jaw dropped. “How much do you need?” Gabriella asked. “Twenty five,” Samantha said. “I have that,” Gabriella replied. “Gab, I can’t take that from you. You haven’t even bought your own dress yet,” Samantha said. “Remember that black cress I bought two weeks ago,” Gabriella said and Samantha nodded her head. “Well I’m wearing that one,” Gabriella continued. “Are you sure?” Samantha asked. “Positive,” Gabriella said. “You sure?” Samantha asked again. “Yes. I’m positive just buy the dress,” Gabriella pushed. “Thank you so much,” Samantha said as she gave Gabriella a huge hug and went back into the dressing room.
