The Friendly deathA Poem by Ria CarolThe poet describes the loss of a person well known to her, and displays the stupidity of the people who assume that they will never die. When I come knocking on your door, know your time has come. The time to bid adieu, and a time to overcome. All your memories will remain, but a dream, to those, still remaining in the stream. The pain of goodbye will remain, in the hearts of the vain. Their time will also come one day and until that day they will say, "why? oh why?" does he fore say "I will come for you one day." So all I will tell you today is to treat me as a friend that day. © 2016 Ria CarolAuthor's Note
