Raw

Raw

A Poem by Lenah Mehzabin

Even the last star vanished

Exhausted and perplexed

A life

Nothing but squint

Far enough from an easy breath

No rhythm plays

Only a home of constant pain

Who will hear the scream

This new face

Of new phase

Is hatred, betrayed, rejected.

When mistake were pleasurable choice

No shame to deny

If question is to fight for life

But it will be nothing

But a led on scurred soul

Plagued with acidic holes.

Shame will be still alive

As regret is the only highlight..

Excellent work as always you do!

One of my favorite writes. You`ve captured it very well. Enjoyed the choice of words as well. Yes, you`re right, the life`s really nothing, but a 'squint'. Neither it let the lovers live freely not let them die with peace. Ah - It`s all full of pleasure as well as piercing pain. Nice imagery!

Ps. You write very beautiful pieces!
