A Round of ApplauseA Poem by Lenah MehzabinDon’t know if my love was so weak That left me freeze, sure a broken piece True,
my presence was so little for you to notice But
still.. My
soul shouldn’t have remained unread Selflessly
when I loved, entirely
A
critic now I give With
amusement I read My
own story. Poetries.. Dark and ash Shoulders
me Feel
so light to see It’s
not only me..
Wrong
if you think My
tears are streaming Like
they were suppose to be Here
I’m, just a little shocked How
in the same ‘’trap’’ I
let my sweet soul Chewed
by a beast
Applaud
burst out From
throat to my lip Standing
in front of window sill When
I watched you running away. Because, You
are the loser, as I’m not in your sleeve Thanks!
You finally fixed In
your suited place of “devil”
And “I’’
sigh in relief I’m
not tagged anymore With
so cheap, dirty things Sorry,
but my heart is ever green It
will be waiting for an honest prince.
