When You are GoneA Poem by Lenah Mehzabin
It’s been
years now When those Chickadees used to sing in that orchard tree Behind the lavender
garden We lived, and
heard it’s sweet melody But now there
is rust in our window grill Covering our
finger prints The days of
our 20’s..
Looking at
sky.. Still now my heart skips Pain that I try
to hide… reveals.
You are the
Golden star now Beside all those silvers Because once I said it was my favorite & so You
made it your place for forever and ever..
Today is again
15th August And I’m not
going to put that rose in a stupid ,dark ,isolated place When people
named it Your grave
Because You
are here ! Standing with
me And I’m in my
red Gavilina Gown, You wanted me
to wear in every anniversary..
Because You
are here ! In front of
our mirror Trying to help
me with my chain But failing …as
You are so busy ……… playing
with my neckline And I can’t
keep Your hands off me ! …………………………………………….
But Baby ? They don’t
believe me So they are
calling me mad old lady They are saying You are go"go.ne Gosh! The-these words ! ..Noh No NOuuh
