Faith is Blind

Faith is Blind

A Poem by Robbie Churchill

There are times
when things come and go
Heartbreaking lies
and lonely roads
Truths that tie
a shattered soul
Love's disguise
in a broken home

Repeat your words
to unwelcome ears
Till the day you're heard
defeat your fears
Though pain may blue
you're happiest years
Remain undeterred
from cold-hearted peers

Remind your heart
your blessed mind
Things break apart
if given time
You may be smart
but faith is blind
You can't restart
a love left behind

Excellent write... Our faith is often tested...a sharpening and refinement of will.
