Read and learn, no need to do your dirt till your soul burns, don't have to wait for a reason to step back, bullets fly in front of you u need to get back, rata tat tat i know you hear that, your life doesn't have to be a statistic, thinking about that life can really make you go ballistic, hold your OG down now your really holding the s**t stick, didn't live a straight life then you really missed it, everyone's birth is a blessing, sent to live and die on earth as a lesson, we all have a star, all we have to do is find it, anyone who comes across will be blinded, thank god that am alive to see a black president, screaming yes we can but that won't change the deficit

Considering this is your first piece I think it is awesome. The lines:
"everyone's birth is a blessing, sent to live and die on earth as a lesson, we all have a star, all we have to do is find it"
have such a strong and realistic message. My only suggestion is to change the structure you have it in. Maybe after each comma start a new line that way the words will flow with the eyes of the reader. Other then that if this is your first I can't wait to read more.

i like it, i just don't get the structure. It seems very lyrical like it was intended to be a rap, maybe? still, it brings up some interesting points, very nice for a first.

This actually a good rant/spoken word. I like it.. to make for easier reading though, I would switch up the layout.. I say keep writing and keep vocalizing.:-)
