Chapter 19

(Thursday, 2 hours before possible Nachevcho negotiations)
Raiden: Jessica, i dont know if you have the same connections as when you worked for The Haven but can you have a helo ready near Red Square?
Jessica: Sure i know a guy.
Raiden: Good and watch over Selene while we're gone.
Jessica: I will like shes my own flesh and blood.
Raiden: Ok.
Raiden: Alright me and Britt will take the Presidential Palace convoy. Cyara, you take Charlene and Allison with you to Red Square and watch over the convoy there.
Kozak: Alright.
Raiden: The name of this op will be Operation Nazara.
Raiden: Do not i repeat do not attempt to kill Nachevcho or his protective personnel.
Raiden: Since Jessica has supplied us with knockout guns suggested by me we will use these when push comes to shove.
Phoenix: Sounds like a plan.
Raiden: Alright we have an hour left, suit up and lets start this.
Everybody goes to their rooms and suits up
Kozak puts on a leather jacket and snow camouflage pants with boots. She then puts a knee pad on her right knee and a elbow bad on her right elbow. She then puts on her leg holster on her right leg and puts her knockout gun in her holster then walks out the room.
Phoenix puts on a denim jacket and jeans sneakers. She doesnt put on any knee pads or elbow pad but she puts a leg holster on her left leg and puts her gun inside it.
Shadow puts on a leather jacket and camouflage pants with sneakers. She also leaves out her knee and elbow pads. Instead of a leg holster she puts the gun in the back of her pants and leaves her room.
Griffin puts on a black windbreaker with black jeans and boots. She puts only puts a knee pad on her left knee and puts her leg holster on her right leg.
Raiden puts on a leather jacket with jeans and sneakers. He puts a knee pad on his right leg and an elbow pad on his left elbow. He puts a leg holster on his right leg and leaves the room.
They all meet in the living room
Raiden: Everybody all set?
Kozak: Yep.
Griffin: Ready to go.
Shadow: Lets get it started
Phoenix: Lets go.
Jessica: Wait you guys will need these earpieces. Dont worry i encrypted the frequency so no one can listen in except us.
Raiden: Thanks Jess. Lets go.
They leave Jessica's place and head down into the basement
Phoenix, Griffin and Shadow leave the basement
Raiden and Kozak steal a Range Rover and leave the garage to head for The Presidential Palace.
Both teams reach their objective
Raiden: Testing.
Phoenix: We hear you.
Jessica: Loud and clear.
Raiden: Good have you got the helo?
Phoenix: Yeah its fully fueled and ready to go.
Raiden: Excellent.
Raiden: I have a good feeling about this op guys.
Phoenix: (Earpiece) Yeah it does have a certain aura.
Griffin: (Earpiece) Hmmm good luck straight out of the gate?
Raiden: Hopefully.
Moments later both teams see their VIP coming out the informed places
Raiden: Objective Nazara in sight.
Phoenix: (Earpiece) Copy that we got him here too.
Raiden: Alright obviously this is for security reasons, so keep an eye out to see if you cross over the Kiev border.
Phoenix: Copy that.
Raiden: Jess, Cyara switch to different channels. This may take some time and the convos may get a little personal.
Jessica: No problem.
Phoenix: Gotcha.
The man at Raiden and Kozak's position gets into a black sedan and the one at Phoenix's position gets into a black limo
Both teams start tailing their targets
Raiden and Kozak follow their target onto an expressway
Phoenix's team gets into the helicopter and follows their target from a safe altitude
Raiden: So Brittany, assuming we live through all this wanna get married?
Kozak: Honestly Yahz, i dont know. I mean yeah we have a wonderful child together but tying the knot for real seems like a big commitment.
Raiden: I know but it just seems right since i got you pregnant.
Kozak: I know what you mean.
Raiden: Well if we do get married, lets not make it right after we win since feelings of lust and victory will be the strongest at that point.
Kozak: (Laughs) I wont make any promises.
Raiden: (Laughs) Well if not marriage, how about we just move in together?
Kozak: Seems like a good idea plus Selene will be able to see both parents.
Raiden: Sound like a plan?
Kozak: Yeah.
Raiden: Super.
Shift to Phoenix's team
Phoenix: So assuming you guys have plans after this, what do plan on doing after we win?
Griffin: I dont know, if theres not a lot of rebuilding to be done i want to open a school.
Phoenix: Sounds admirable.
Phoenix: Charlene?
Shadow: So far im thinking about law enforcement.
Phoenix: Cool.
Shadow: And yourself?
Phoenix: I just want to sit back, relax and see whats in store for the future.
Griffin: Hmmmm.
Phoenix: What?
Griffin: Doesnt seem like something you would do.
Phoenix: Hey it could change.
Griffin: True.
Shift over to Raiden and Kozak
Raiden: So hows Selene doing? Learning wise?
Kozak: Shes doing well, shes a pretty fast learner.
Raiden: Good good.
Raiden: Hopefully nothing happens to where she will need to use the skills we taught her.
Kozak: Yeah that wouldnt be a pretty sight or good for her mentality.
Raiden: Well positive right? Stay positive it wont happen?
Kozak: Best thing we can do.
Raiden turns on the radio
He hears an announcement that his father has just died
Raiden: What the f**k!?
Kozak: What happened?
Raiden: How should i know?
Raiden: Switch through the frequencies on our earpieces to find Jessica's and Cyara's .
Kozak finds Phoenix's first
Kozak: Cyara stay on this frequency. Ill be right back.
Kozak starts to find Jessica's frequency
She does and tells her to tune in to the frequency she has Phoenix on
Jessica listens and does as Kozak says
Kozak then tunes Raiden's earpiece to the one she told Jessica and Phoenix about
Raiden: Yeah did you guys hear the news?
Jessica: No.
Phoenix: No what happened?
Raiden: My dad just passed away.
Jessica: What?
Phoenix: Seriously?
Raiden: Yep.
Phoenix: So what now?
Raiden: We still continue along our mission. Surely my dad and Cyara's would have successors.
Phoenix: Alright.
Jessica: Copy that.
Raiden: Dont switch frequencies.
Phoenix: Got it.
Jessica: Gotcha.
Shadow: Do you have a brother or something Yahz?
Raiden: Well i have a brother, his names Alex.
Shadow: When's the last time you spoke to him?
Raiden: A little while before went to South America 10 years ago.
Shadow: Well he could be a successor.
Raiden: Well if he is then he'll be more eager to continue the rule my dad and Cyara's created.
Shadow: So do our mission parameters change?
Raiden: No, since he has to be a young man now we might have to be extra careful.
Shadow: Noted.
Raiden and Kozak start to near the Kiev border
Raiden: Cyara pull off your target. Me and Kozak just passed the border.
Phoenix: Pulling off.
Raiden and Kozak follow Nachevcho to his house
They wait for his security personnel to go home
Raiden readies his gun
Raiden: You ready?
Kozak: Lets get this guy.
Raiden: As soon as we get him knock him out, we have to bring him back.
Kozak: Copy that.
They sneak through his basement then through his living room careful not to wake up his guard dog
They go in his bedroom and knock him out
They put a bag over his head and bring him back to the Range Rover
Raiden and Kozak drive off and bring him back to Jessica's place
Raiden: We got em.
Jessica: Not bad.
Griffin: Awesome.
Raiden: Alright we'll wait till morning to negotiate.
