Chapter 15

(10 Years Later)
Athena, Noble, Juno, Artemis and Minerva have aged to their mid 30’s and now live in Cuba on a small farm
Selene is now 10 years old
Noble is training his daughter
Noble: Ok Selene, show me what I’ve taught you.
Noble and Selene engage in combat. Selene try’s to punch Noble in his ribs but he swats away her punch. Noble try’s for a leg sweep but Selene jumps over it. Selene jumps at him and try’s to go for a chokehold. She fails and Noble tosses her off of him. Finally Selene kicks the back of Noble’s legs and makes him go into a split. She finishes him with a kick to the face.
Noble gets up
Noble: Very good Selene.
Selene: Thanks dad.
Noble: I’ve taught you most of what I know.
Selene: What about mom?
Noble: Go. Ask her to teach you what she knows. She’s very exceptional in Fighting and Archery.
Selene: You’re not good in Archery dad?
Noble: I am but not as good as your wonderful mother.
Selene: Ah I see.
Noble goes inside the house
Noble: Cyara!
Juno: Yeah?
Noble: Wanna spar?
Juno: Sure.
Noble: Alright meet me outside.
20 minutes later Juno meets Noble outside
They both put up their stances
Noble: Alright no holds barred.
Juno: (Blows Raspberry) Please Yaz, you know I can kick your a*s as equally as you can mine.
Noble: Fine Commander Shepard let’s see if you still got it.
Noble goes first. He goes for a neck chop but Juno swats it away and goes for a punch to the face. Noble swats her hand to the side and goes for a punch to her right kidney. Juno quickly parries it jumps back and goes for a roundhouse kick. Juno lands her kick and Noble falls to the ground. He shakes off the pain and gets back up. While his vision is still dazed, he rushes Juno with a quick combo to her mid-section. She swats away most of his punches but Noble manages to land two of them. Juno steps back and slouches over to soothe the pain in her mid-section. Noble sees this and rushes her again but with a barrage of kicks. Juno dodges most of them but takes three kicks to her legs. Juno a little winded, runs at Noble and sweeps his legs from under him. She grabs one of his legs and twists his left ankle. With his right leg free he hammers a couple blows onto her chest making her let go. They both get back up, Juno rubs her right breast. She runs at him again. She jumps at his head with her legs wide open. She lands the jump and flips backwards with Noble along with it. He grunts as he may have suffered whiplash. He gets up and cracks his neck. He runs at her. He goes for a flying knee but Juno deflects it with her elbow. Juno goes for a dropkick. She lands it and springboards on her hands back up to her feet. While he’s down she does to put Nobles arm in an armbar. He quickly snaps his hand back and hits her in her inner thigh. He gets up and puts her in chokehold. She elbows him near his heart and he lets go. They both get back up. Juno rushes Noble again. She goes for a kick to the mid-section. She lands it and Noble falls to the ground. He signals that he gives up.
She walks over to him and holds out her hand
Noble grabs it and Juno helps him up
Juno: What was that now Yaz?
Noble: Alright f**k, you still got it.
Noble: Just next time don’t put your vagina in my face that was the biggest distraction in the world.
Juno: Well f**k you should have been ready.
Noble: True but c’mon.
Juno: Hey can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.
Noble: Alright Commander Shepard damn ill stop bitching.
They walk back inside the house
Noble: Charlene! Selene!
They both come to the front door.
Selene: Yeah?
Noble: Auntie Charlene here is going to teach you acrobatics.
Artemis: Yaz, are you sure? It’s been years I may have lost a step or two.
Noble: Yes I’m sure. Trust me why would I ask you if I wasn’t confident.
Artemis: Good point.
Artemis: C’mon Selene. Let go out in the field.
Artemis and Selene leave the house while Juno follows behind them
Noble: Cyara where are you going?
Juno: Oh I’m going into town to pick up a few things.
Noble: Alright be careful and watch your sectors.
Juno: Gotcha Big Boss.
Noble: Funny.
Noble gives her a kiss on the forehead then she leaves
Noble goes back in the house
Artemis: Ok I’m going to say this ahead of time, if I can’t do certain things…Well you know.
Selene: I understand.
Artemis: Ok we’ll start with springboards.
Selene: Alright.
Artemis: Okay get into my stance.
Artemis prepares her stance and Selene follows her
Artemis: Bend your knees to about 90 degrees.
Selene: Alright.
Artemis: Now jump backwards with your hands near the sides of your head then once you feel your hands hit the ground push off your hands and jump back up.
Selene: Alrighty.
Selene does as instructed and lands her first springboard
Artemis: Good job little Yaz.
(Shift over to Noble and Athena inside the house)
Athena and Noble are in their room having sex
A little while later they finish and discuss the coming future
Noble: (Out of breath) So when do you think we should start planning our attacks?
Athena: (Out of breath) It’s up to you. I personally would start attacking a week from now.
Noble: Why?
Athena: The new rule your father and Cyara’s father created has lead to the secession of some countries from the union.
Noble: Ooooooh say secession again you sound sexy.
Athena: (Laughs) Secession.
Noble: I would say let’s go for round two but this is important.
Athena: The countries that seceded are Russia, Turkey, Japan, Canada and The Koreas.
Noble: Hmmmm let’s go for Russia first since they were always known for their great military.
Athena: Alright.
Noble gets out of the bed and looks out the window to see Artemis and Selene training
Noble: It’s something how time flies.
Athena: I know it seems like just yesterday I gave birth to her.
Noble: If I didn’t tell you before, you did a great job delivering her.
Athena: (Smiles) Thanks.
Athena gets out of the bed and walks behind Noble
Athena: Ready for round two?
Noble: You know it.
Noble kisses her and they both go back into the bed together
Several minutes later Juno comes back into the house with a black bag full of 5 long boxes and one short box
She goes upstairs to Noble and Athena’s room
She barges in without knocking
Noble: WHAT THE F**K DUDE!!!!!!!
Juno: Goddamn it.
Athena: What the f**k Cyara?
Juno: Sorry f**k!!
Juno: So was he pounding that or going full blown ape s**t on that?
Juno laughs and hurriedly closes the door and Athena throws her pillow at the door
Athena sighs and lays back down
Noble: Taking a rain check?
Athena: Yeah, sorry.
Noble: GODDAMN IT CYARA!!!!
Athena laughs, gets out of bed and gets dressed
Noble does the same
They go downstairs to see Minerva, Artemis and Selene sitting on their couches
Juno takes the boxes out of her bag
Juno: Everybody gets one and one only.
They all pick one box and open them
Athena: Holy s**t Cyara! Thank you!
Juno: Hey unconventional warfare calls for unconventional weapons so I figured hey we should start using katana’s.
Noble: Nice going Cyara.
Juno: Thanks.
Minerva: Wait. What did you do to get these?
Juno: Fight clubs.
Artemis: Jesus.
Juno: Yep not a scratch on me.
Noble: I see.
Juno: Pick out the ones you like and keep em.
Noble picks a katana with a red hilt and red sheath
Juno picks one with a turquoise hilt and black sheath
Artemis picks one with a red hilt and black sheath
Athena picks one with a purple hilt and black sheath
Minerva picks one with a black hilt and silver sheath
Juno then pulls out the small box
Juno: Here Selene this is yours.
Selene opens the box to find a smaller version of their katana’s
Selene: Hmmm thanks.
Juno: What’s wrong?
Selene: Not my style.
Athena: Selene, throw it here.
Selene tosses it to Athena
Athena inspects it and tosses it back to Selene
Athena: I prefer Tanto swords over katana’s.
Athena: Here take mine.
Athena unsheathes her katana
Athena: This is a very sharp weapon and must be handled with care and finesse.
Athena sheaths her sword again.
Athena: Here you go.
Selene: Wow thanks mom!
Athena: No problem.
Selene tosses her Tanto sword back to Athena
Her Tanto sword has a purple hilt and black sheath just like the katana she just gave Selene
Noble: Ok, It’s decided, we’ll start our putting our plans into motion next week in Russia.
Artemis: Okay.
Noble: We’ll have to have new Callsigns.
Noble: I’ll change mine to Raiden.
Noble: What about you Charlene?
Artemis: I’ll pick…Shadow.
Noble: Cyara?
Juno: Phoenix sounds cool.
Noble: Allison?
Minerva: Hmmmm…Griffin sounds badass.
Noble: Brittany?
Athena: How about Kozak?
Noble: Ok sounds good.
Noble: Selene, we may need you to be support in the field so you pick one.
Selene: Ummm…I like Wolf. Yeah that sounds good.
Raiden: Alright sounds good.
Raiden: From this day forth, we will no longer be governed by others, no longer be told how to live our lives, from this day forth we will create a world that will allow people to live as they see fit. We will topple this regime our parents created and replace it with a new peaceful way of living. No longer will we be subjects to do other people bidding, no longer will people be told what to believe in. We will all stand together and not be prejudice against one another. We will stand together to tell people not to be believe in others but believe in themselves because only the people with the will to change the world will change it. And now that we have our weapons we will fight.
Raiden: Everybody pack your stuff for next week, it’s going to be a long fight to reshape the world.
Raiden: Selene, considering what we have taught you do you think you could give us recon support through computers?
Selene: Sure dad I’ll do my best.
Raiden: That’s my daughter.
