Yeah...

A funny thing, love is. So tender and

So dear. You’re willing to do anything

For that one person, even walk the land

Of this earth, which, for love, is a good thing.

I once lost a love to one of my friends.

He was an a*s so 'twas hard to move on.

Here I learned that even a good thing ends

After that point, my suffering was gone.

Now, these days, it is happening once more

But to a traitor, my love was not lost.

Although this makes my heart ever so sore

I will make her happy at any cost.

It is not as sad as it was last time.

At least the man is a little sublime.
