I think 'tis time for a more upbeat atmosphere

Leaves and their branches, branches and their leaves

Nine Months never leaving one another.

Even the time when the chilly wind heaves

Nature reunites them with no bother

But what if man lays their destructive hands

Destroying the bond of the branch and leaf

Spreading destruction throughout the lands

Friends stay as one in the land of relief

Like the leaf and branch, nothing comes between

Them, even in times when light seems far away.

Even the worst fights that I’ve ever seen

Ends with forgiveness for ‘tis the right way

Through all these troubles, ‘til the very end

No bond is stronger than one with a friend.
