Sonnet 2

Sonnet 2

A Poem by RA Fernandez
"

Once again, I am not depressed. I think this is a bit worse than the last one. I'll get better! :))

"

Tons of stars shimmering in the night sky,

For millions of nights, for millions of years.

To join them up there, some of us may try,

Most of us who do might end up in tears

What makes a star shine ever so brightly?

This mythical power, we’ll never know.

‘Tis an enigma, taken so lightly,

Questions with answers that will never show

Like most things in life, we’ll have to move on;

There are some answers, forever unknown.

Even as we approach the horizon,

We will have to solve this all on our own.

Conflicts like these can cut us like a knife

But we’ll face them for the rest of our life.
