Out of Sight

I can never reach that sphere of light.
It sheds a faint illusion on the ground I stand on,
The illusion I can go beyond mortal toil...

Why immortality is as simple
As being seen by you who
Transcends the confines of mortality

For being cast in the retina
Of Perfection is to be cast
In the sight of heaven,

But heaven is blind, always has been,
To dreamers like me...
