Sonnet 10A Poem by RA FernandezNovember 23, 2012 "The beauty of the poem matches the beauty of the muse." - Austin Fernandez (AKA Yours truly)10 (11/23/12)
Eagle, take wing, the skies are yours to soar. Your chains are broken; your freedom is yours. When you’re high in the sky, recall once more The courage that set straight your destined course. All I wish now is to fly just as high Across the world, across the seas, across The universe, as long as I reach my Goal to fly with you. The skies will not pause And neither will I, for our course is to A garden of light and eternal bliss. This place’s luster is lost without you. The flight alone, I would not want to miss. But until our fateful courses cross ways, I’ll soar in your skies ‘til the end of days. © 2012 RA Fernandez |
