Sundown

A Poem by Blue Sky

Austerity come
set before the winters of my soul
while the fires of my soul slowly rise to your lucid arms

It is in the look of your eyes, astute profuses you
in the distance of certainty, so genuinely that it slips
a bit of goodness of that which is to come

It comes and nestles quite nicely upon the horizons of my heart
and as I close my eyes, my soul drifts to touch you once more
and lay next to you upon the blue lips of horizon

For it is there, where the downing of a soul is revealed
perplexity gleams through the beams of your eyes
