A Poem by R-Manikin

One morning,

The lord told me something

“It is my fire in which you dream”

Simply I slip from concern,
Finding an internal smile

Strengthened drive to be,
To keep on keeping on in belief

Walking through the days of life
Consoling any point of time

Baring witness

Wearing a fathers love for his child

One day,

The lord told me something

“don’t let a blind man light your way”

This simple spirit view
An eye for who does not see

Reaching out for free
Always giving to give

Worship in prayer and receive

I shall not deny him my while

Waring a fathers love for his child

One night,

The lord told me something

“don’t rake your leaves in the wind”

I simply wait on the weather,
In patience watch it simmer

Prepare ahead little
Venture and test the water

Unravel the binding stress

Show a soul with no smile

Wearing a fathers love for his child
