English SnowfallA Poem by QuxierEnglish SnowfallThe snow descended on the livid thoroughfare at eventide. Every aspect of the snow related to icing sugar, gently alighting to the cement, as if a damsel at a gala, brim of her coquettish demeanor. Although frigid to man’s touch, it warms the aura of England’s streets and leaves the cheeks of merry children all bright and red. No such thing is better than the English snowfall. May the English snowfall arrive each winter, and may nothing let it avert. © 2017 QuxierAuthor's Note
