English Snowfall

English Snowfall

A Poem by Quxier

English Snowfall

The snow descended on the livid thoroughfare at eventide. Every aspect of the snow related to icing sugar, gently alighting to the cement, as if a damsel at a gala, brim of her coquettish demeanor. Although frigid to man’s touch, it warms the aura of England’s streets and leaves the cheeks of merry children all bright and red. No such thing is better than the English snowfall. May the English snowfall arrive each winter, and may nothing let it avert.

Ignore the fact that this isn't a poem, it's a description I wrote a while back of the snowfall of 2016.

Beautiful description, well penned

Very well expressed, a well description of a beautiful snow day. Language is very good, not too much flurry as to confuse, but not so downgraded. Perhaps I can one day experience such delight
