InquisitiveA Poem by QuothCorvidInspired by a delightful four year old.
Basking in the beautiful raidence
Warmth washing over it Lifting its face twoard heaven Little ones laughter spills out As she bends to examine the crocus at her feet Petals a beautiful cross between violet and amythest Skip along the verdent grass Pick the wild flowers Make a bouquet for Mommy Sing tunelessly Downy gossamar clouds wafting along Cerulean skies of midday On hands and knees Peeping, scrutinizing, in awe On marches the ant oblivious Hardset to its task Onyx body shining in the sun Herculean strength Head full of riotous curls Tilting to the side Tounge to the side of her mouth in concentration Pulling the purple chalk one line at a time across the sidewalk Beaming smile flashes up triumphant "Look I drew a cwocruus" © 2010 QuothCorvidReviews
