malevolence

malevolence

A Poem by QuothCorvid

Boil burning seething
Heartbeat quickens
Face flush with the heat
Go ahead shove me
What would I do if you did?
Is that what really matters
Gut twisting with anticipation Is this what the beginnings of an ulcer feel like?
Thoughts dash through my head of words left unspoken
What if I had said this, why had you said that?
Vengence?
No
I am better then that
Am I?
I think so…
I hope so.
Every time I think your name it ricochets inside my understanding
I am sore with contemplation, I am sore with you.
My body beseeches me for forgiveness, that my mind won't relinquish
Why?
Because I am blind with it, all of it.
Time heals all wounds
Or does it only deaden us to them?
