Mirror ReflectionA Poem by QuothCorvidCut down by the world,
You murder me with your expectations, Must be faultless, blameless, Never to be rudimentary, undeveloped or warped I don’t want to be skinny, angular, bony, emaciated, gaunt, lank, lean, malnourished, rawboned, scrawny, skeletal, slender, spare, twiggy, undernourished I just want to be me. America is polluted The world is defiled, tainted Think, trust, understand, wait, watch despair and lose faith In a world run by Models and McDonalds To extremes Cause and result Depression suppression Take the turn in the road No Obsession Change Healthy, able, goals in life Is there a cure? © 2010 QuothCorvidReviews
