How Sounds the Road to SuicideA Poem by Sirajudin Matin
I’ve fallen in these streets,
I fail to surface from my knees, The water cast a blank reflection, And I feel there is no belonging, Under this hail of rain.. I’ll always be forgotten… Not even second place, Disgusted with myself I expect you’d never trust me, I’ll never attract such grace… As my reflection has the barrel pointed at me, The taste metal fills my mouth, And fingers slips amidst confliction. © 2011 Sirajudin Matin |
