Dreamers

Dreamers

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin

Let us make like dreamers,
And throw away this weight,
The burden we are born with,
The cruelness of our fate.

Let’s run past technology,
And the distance that it brings,
Let us give up all our arms,
Content with all in peace,
Let us push past all our fashion,
Seeing what’s not skin deep.

Let us make like dreamers,
To run with what we have,
And leave a trail of paper cranes,
To love with all our breath.
