Twisted Is My Thought of YouA Poem by Sirajudin Matin
Giving up on flying,
Hounds chew through broken wings, Wishing to forget you, The emotions that you beckon, The simple song you sing. A bleeding fetus, I cannot breathe, The sorrow that has filled me, Deprives me of sweet dreams. Running, I’m unwinding, But shackles pull me down, As I gaze upon my surroundings, All I know is you. As blue was September, My blackest dream, I need you to put me at ease. © 2011 Sirajudin Matin |
