Unheard Cries

Unheard Cries

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin

So still your body lay,
Arms folded hold to nothing now,
You lost it all,
Trying to rid the pain,
Lying in bed never to wake,
What good had come from running away?
Her tears on your cold cheek,
Empty stares cast upon her,
A paradise was cut down,
Just to end your pain,
A cut is placed,
Not on your wrist,
She shouts for you,
A prayer unheard,
A shriek of pain,
Her death not near,
Yet her end has come,
An autumn night lost love is bled,
Your eyes now open,
But she is dead. . . .

Sirajudin Matin,

Darkness above all, has to be the most creative subject matter on which to write.

Embracing the words that have settled upon this page, for they are words of sorrow and pain, weakness and insanity… a shell of emptiness inside this cage of death.

Trapped in an all knowing, yet ignorant, society our hands feel tied and useless. How can we rid our world of evil? Is this an impossible feat? Obviously, God has washed our world of sins more than once and as impossible as it may seem, will happen again - someday.

I am intrigued by this write and hope that you will continue your dark journey; it seems you are blessed with this gift.

I think you should post this into the Dark Secrets Contest from Poetic Infusion Society, if you have not already.

I enjoyed your words, awesome write!
