Rest Stops

Rest Stops

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin

If the world moves on,
If I’m left behind,
Will you give up course?

Will you tag along?
Take step besides my lost body,
Cease the blood,
Yet let me cry?

Soon after my legs pace,
As I grasp another faith,
Will you take my hand,
And lead the way?

On course,
Nowhere awaits,
But life’s along the way…
