Premonition: Riding In the Beast on Rolling Fours

Premonition: Riding In the Beast on Rolling Fours

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin

The white lipped maiden
Devoured the moon
Before our very eyes,
And I stopped…

Confused and scared,
Lost in the moment.
Desire slowly seeping
Through hidden layers
Of my soul…
And All I need...
Is you...

The wind whispers—
In silence of the future,
And my ears catch…
Muffled sounds,
A flash, a glimpse,
Of what waits…

Windows down,
An open road,
Green surrounds our path,
Slowly swaying,
But we move to fast,
To note the movement.

And white clouds
Put patches in
A blue October sky,
It could be day…
It could be like this…

But this night shines bright,
As I lay beside you,
With man made rain
Spouting from the ground,
It’s all around us…

And this…
This is what I’m living for…
To dream each night,
Of what future travels wait...
And all I need...
Is you...
