Another woman

The strange call in the night.
Call once ring twice.
Who could that be?
Husband in the yard
On his cell away from me
He calls to tell me he's gonna be late
Me alone at the table
Staring at the dinner plates
I call to ask him
How late will you be?
A laugh in the back ground
Could that be she?
He tells me he'll be home round three
I say to myself “my husband is cheating on me
I hang up the phone
Still sitting there all alone
Waiting on my husband to come on home
He comes in the bedroom in the middle of the night
Next thing you know
The phone rings, call once ring twice
I watched him as he walked away
Followed him and heard him say
"hey baby did you make it home"
I love and already miss you
Thanks for the late night bone
As I stood behind him
Bursting into tears
He turned and looked at me
Not knowing I was there
Another woman who could she be
He told me he would never hurt me

And yet he cheats HE CHEATS ON ME
