Poison me.

You will sicken.
Lay waste my bounty.
You will starve.
Burn my lungs.
You will suffocate.
Sell my bones.
You will not prosper.
Heal me,
Save your self.

It is the way of our Universe isn't it? What we put out there will come back to us and not in the way we expect it too. I like the last two lines of course the best they are unique in the poem but possess the most power to me. I was never good at getting a message across in short poetry form so this poem of yours is splendid and wonderful to me. Excellent wisdom.

You certainly aren't alone in thinking that, Selene... On good days, I hope a majority will someday soon come to their senses... and on bad days, I am certain that this death path we have been on so long is very near its end.
