How ManyA Poem by Quilled_PenmanHow many chances are we given to find true love? How Many How many fair possibilities, Does time compliment us? Have we deluded life itself, Leaned on a soul we trust? If we surmise utterly sure, Turn now to set love free, Love’s one slippery wind, Tempting moxie endlessly. If love rallies an embrace, Hits confident and aware, Why are interlacing souls, Often being caged unfair? How many deep plunges, Has love offered up those, Who find love was special, Are maimed by its throes? How can it ever rebound, If before it wistfully failed? Is love the benign currant, Adjusting at will to unveil? Fate’s quirky interactions, Where love would repeat, Until magically our hearts, Sang true love’s complete. How many can determine, That love deserving heed, Comprehend needed faith, Insuring us love succeeds? Would we to share our all, Or unhurried wait and see, Hastily gravitate passions, Obsessing urges hungrily. If love has diminished afar, Shows us an expiry upset, Maybe there is a strength, Sturdy hearts could reset? How many appeared valid, When love has voiced go? Is prudence thrown aside, Approaching this plateau? How can we be reassured, It has something we lack? Will love hoist us through, Without stress drawbacks? Love’s template gambles, Challenging us to foresee, Love’s a crystal moulding, Alliance patterns of family. March-20-2013 by Quilled_Penman©Glen King © 2013 Quilled_Penman |
