Scorched Heart

Scorched Heart

Scorched Heart

My huge gentle loving heart has forever broken,

Abuse cutting deep left this raw scorched token,

Depressing tears run heavily down upon my face,

Drip my chin ending my once happy joyous space,

Two rivers raged pouring painful revealing lines,

Pool of soul filling pain I searched for any signs,

Words blend together looking suffering obscure,

Lord please, I’m needing an inspiring loving cure,

I’m kept out of the loop for some jealousy reason,

My heart said ‘out’ this ranting poisonous treason,

Hope’s glimmer took emotions to an upward turn,

An inner voice whispered you better live and learn.
