Living on TimeA Poem by WeazaThe poem is fast, to keep up you need to know it changes the setting almost every line. Here I am thinking of the past, Amazed by how the year flew by, Thinking of how much I don't even care how fast time is going, A tears comes to my face, Remember running around at the age of six carefree of the world, You lay on your little bed then open your eyes to the age of twelve, Running to school praying time will go faster, Hanging around with your friends gossiping about the "who's" and "what's" and the school, Have your boyfriend and holding his hand, Then see that your holding the wheel of that brand new car, Go around the block, Turn to the drive way and see your kids running to hug you, Hold onto them and love them, Seeing you love of your life holding the little one, Open the door to the house, And cry your eyes out seeing your parents are gone, Wipe your eyes and wave your too your children going away on their own, Then teaching your little grandchildren how to say hello, Say good-bye to your family... Then watch over them from above. Come back down, Thinking of the past and think of all the time... Living on time, The hour glass can't be turned around... Because that also is, Living on Time.
