A Stubborn Girl and The Empty-Headed Boy

A Stubborn Girl and The Empty-Headed Boy

A Poem by Weaza

I said "Best Friends, till the end",

I was wrong,

Two different paths,

They cross,

Too try and connect,

The stubborn girl,

The empty-headed boy,

With a glass-wall to separate the paths,

The girl thought of the past and future,

The boy thought of the present,

The girl thought he wouldn't remember,

Only, though, the boy is just good at hiding and acting,

The past between them,

Glows in the girls mind,

Her helping him push away his tears,

Him stealing her crayons,

The spark of when they looked in each others eyes,

The present now,

Roads rocky and broken in the boy's mind,

He stares at her,

When she talks to him,

He turns his head,

Future,

Who knows for the boy and girl (?),

Only they,

Repair the roads together,

Only they,

Figure out the spark that wants to become a fire-cracker,

Only they separate,

Only they connect,

Only,

The stubborn girl,

With,

The empty-headed boy.
