Hard to Forget

Another grandpa poem and cancer... It can take everything you love and leave you without it forever.

I didn't talk much with you,

Unless we were on the phone,

Everyday I could tell you were getting weaker,

And it broke my heart so...

Even though I didn't know much,

Your voice told everything you didn't want to say,

It made me cry,

When I found out,

The cancer took another loved one,

I wish cancer would never be seen again,

For everyone who is losing someone because of it,

It kills everyone to see someone they love,

Struggle through each and every minute,

But seeing you with an air tank with you,

Helping you get by everyday,

I thought you could fight,

But it was stronger then you could face,

Its Hard To Forget,

The pain you went through,
