Celestial Prayer

Celestial Prayer

A Poem by Dylan S.

Star bright, star light.

Wish upon this soul tonight.

Old men, young friends.

Pray to make amends.

Make it here, store it there.

The love from all your cares.

Blissful love, fitting glove.

Look up to see white doves.

White snow, lasting glow.

Winter's frozen, but you I know.

Frozen water, frigid tower.

Upon Father Time, will we hear laughter?

Time and space, the one's in place.

Hear words escape a dying face.

Life and death, words that are left.

The love I had, taken through theft.

Loving heart, broke apart.

No longer will I know my part.

I know it all, but I will fall.

Yet I run and walk, never crawl.

Run and fight, without despite.

I will know peace by light.

Through all my foes, now I know.

Time moves on, and lets it go.

Now I must move, let go or lose

all the things I've done for you.

Thank you so much, but as such,

It's time to leave, save what's left of us.
