Do you ever get the urge

To just walk up to someone

Tell them to sit and you’ll listen

To all that needs to be said

 

I do..

 

I haven’t seen you back,

Sometimes I wish I could,

Just to see if your alright

And to know if your still breathing

 

I care..

 

Someone told me that

You were sleep walking

With a knife in your hand

And it’s the reason why your back

 

I notice..

 

They told us that you have

Been snorting sugar

Kids will be kids

But how do you know how to snort

 

I wonder..

 

Nothing makes me feel

Higher than to see

Them smile and laugh

Its like a lullaby for me

 

I love..

 

I wonder if you notice

That I sit and stare

At all of you

Just wanting to know

 

I think..

 

I see and do care

I notice and wonder

I love and think about all of you

Every day, every minute, every time
