Broken, Again..

My heart is broken

Because of what you did

But I have not cried

I’m trying to be strong

Keeping it all inside

Ignoring all the feelings

Controlling my emotions

Because if I shred a tear

It will prove you’ve won

You never will, ever

My heart is tearing inside me

That’s one thing I can’t overlook

Because I can feel it pulling apart

And every time it beats

It breaks even more

All the memories are in my mind

Thinking of all we’ve did together

But now all my thoughts are dark about you

All the time we spent

The flowers you bought me

The way you held me

Kissing my lips like never before

All the late nights we had

Was all for nothing..

Nothing..

I’m trying to make sense of it all

But its just making me think more

I’ve let another in my heart

And once they get inside

They destroy it, the first chance they get..

This is a beautiful poem but it's heartbreaking..
