Let Loose

Everyone that knows me

Knows that I don’t dance

This past weekend

I took a chance

I saw all of the others dancing

Seeing how much fun they were having

My sisters saw me standing there

They called me over to dance with them

Something hit me, I didn’t hesitate at all

I just walked up and started dancing

Shaking my hips back and forth

Letting my hair fly around

Moving my feet and arms

They were yelling “How low can you go”

So we all went down low

I didn’t know I could do that

I felt so good dancing

Having such a good time

Laughing, smiling, letting go

I just let loose

I didn’t care who was watching

Or what they thought of me

I was having fun with my friends and family

Everything just disappeared

It was just me and the dance floor

I put all my worries and hurt

In the back of my mind

And just danced

Dancing is such a great way to release the work week, have fun and exercise! What it does for the soul and self-esteem is truly healing.. you show yourself breaking free and daring to go for it.. awesome! No one should be afraid to try.. it's complete euphoria and so much fun. I love the way you show your emotions and set yourself free.. describing how it made you feel.. and everything really does feel as if it's disappeared out on the dance floor! Great job.. loved it.
