New Year

I’m running away

And I’m not looking back

I always do this

Someone tries to get close

But I take off without them noticing

I’m sorry for everything

I feel horrible but I can’t

There’s nothing wrong with you

It was all me

Bills and bills have been piling

And I can’t seem to pay them off

It just gets harder

I’m trying my hardest

This year has been a tough one

For my family and friends

Losing someone close

Money running out

Hearts were broken

Trying to find a way out

Getting into trouble

We made mistakes

We got hurt

And cried our eyes out

But we didn’t fall

Another year is going by

I hope 2010 is better than 2009

It seemed to have been bad for everyone

On December 31, 2009, at 11:59

We will raise our glasses

Look at each other

Feel all we have been through

And drink to everything

Once it hits 2010

We will celebrate

But for us it will be so much more

Because we have been waiting

We have all said we can’t wait

Here’s hope to a better year

Its gotta be better

It just does..
