I’m being impatient

There’s a part of me holding back
Because I don’t know the future is for us
I want to stay positive about you
But its hard when you let me slip right by you
I have others in my life that would love to have your place
But for some reason I just don’t let them
There will come a time where I won’t be able to fight

If someone wants me, he’ll do whatever he can
And that’s what scares me, because we’ll lose our chance
My heart is up for grabs
