My Life, My Ride

I can't help but love this feeling <3

My Life, My Ride
My life has been
A rollercoaster lately
The ride keeps on going
Making my stomach fall
And every time it gets
To those loopy loops
It’s the exciting part
About the life I live
When it goes slowly up
And it stops at the very top
I look down at my everything
With my hands in the air
I don’t say a word
I feel the wind blowing
And I let go completely
It leans forward and drops me
But at the bottom it lifts me up
Then it goes fast from there
It took forever going up
But throughout the ride
The time flew on by
And I come to a stop
I tell my heart
To do it all again.

You have penned a perfect analogy of life, how we see our ups and downs. The best part that I liked most, here is the peering down from the apex observing our life, then letting go for the ride down. Life is like a roller coaster. With the different twist and turns which could be our many experiences. I love the last few lines;

But throughout the ride
The time flew on by
And I come to a stop
I tell my heart
To do it all again.

Whether we choose love or sin we always tell ourselves to do whatever it is all over again. The ride never stop for any of us as long as we walk, breathe and challenge the mind.
