I love writing. =)

Writing
What writing means to me
It’s a total different talent
Than what my career is
One day I decided I was going to
Write my entire feelings down
On a white piece of paper
With a black ink pen
And I would hide it away
From all around me
But now that I am older
I want people to read it
To see, feel, and understand me
I express myself easier in writing
Its all I have done
If you asked me a personal question in person
I couldn’t give you what’s on my heart
But if you asked me in writing
I could give you a whole book
Its just easier to say with written words
But poetry has unleashed me
To someone I had no idea was alive
I’ve found myself in writing
And if anyone ever wants to know me
Its all over in my writes
I could never tell someone who I am in person
But if they were to write it down who I am
They would see a whole different side
You would see the caring, hurt, and life in it
In person, you only see the happiness, smiles and laughter
Which isn’t fake but inside I go through so much
But doesn’t mean I am unhappy
I am very happy with life and who I am
Writing has always been apart of me
I don’t care if the whole world doesn’t read it
At least I know I can and I will continue to

Writing is some of the best therapy you can receive. It's a wonderful and liberating talent, as well as healing tool. I, too, have come to know myself better through my writing. Likewise, it has helped me to understand the world better. Another Excellent piece that leaves much to think about in the reader's mind. Outstanding!

Okay, who are you and who told you MY life story? Who spilled the beans? ALL kidding aside, that's exactly how got started writing as well.
